Regulatory

Advanced Chemical Company operates under Federal regulation 40 CFR part 266, subpart F (Recyclable Materials Utilized for Precious Metal Recovery) and all of the rules and regulations promulgated by the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. Rhode Island permits:

  • Thermal destruction units
  • Air pollution control equipment
  • Storm water discharge associated with industrial activity [RI Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (RIPDES)]

Advanced Chemical Company is permitted for both sanitary and industrial waste activity. We operate a multistage wastewater treatment process on-site to meet the requirements specified by our Publicly Operated Treatment Works (POTW) for industrial waste discharge. We also have an up-to-date waste treatment facility and carry pollution impairment liability insurance.
