Ion-exchange Resins
Ion-exchange resins are the most efficient method of recovering precious metals from electroplating rinse waters. However, quantifying the precious metal contained in a wet resin is a challenge. This is why we were the first to develop a dry blend process to accurately sample these resins for our customers.
Our one-of-a-kind resin drying and blending room uses infrared lamps that remove nothing but the water from your material. We are able to process up to twelve cubic feet of resin to an assayable form in just one day.
Each assay is based on before-burn material.
Other methods we employ for handling your ion-exchange resins include
thermal reduction and ball milling for assay.
