Refining precious metals for more than 35 years

Acid Digestion

There are many types of precious metal bearing material that do not lend themselves to melting, incineration or stripping.  These materials can be separated (or digested) using a variety of acid digestion methods.

Acid digestion allows the selected material to be completely dissolved into liquid form via our assortment of aqua regia kettles. This process allows us to separate and precipitate out the the precious metals from the non-precious metals present in the resulting liquid. The advantage of this process is that it reveals any and all precious metal that may be encapsulated in a non-metal housing or hidden in a multiple layer of metal deposits.

We have the largest assortment of acid digestion kettles available in the eastern United States with kettles ranging in volume from 20 gallon to 150 gallon capacity.
